“Michael McCleary has a gift for connecting with audiences. His relaxed, easy going style makes him very approachable and people respond to that.” – Patrick Mathieu, Patrick Mathieu Unlimited (and cast member of An Anything But Ordinary Journey)

As a filmmaker, Michael McCleary has committed himself to creating and working on projects that offer the audience and himself an opportunity to be inspired by and/or reflect on life’s greatest questions.  Whether a film or TV project, Michael is active in answering these questions on life, relationships, business and spirit.

In his first documentary film, An Anything But Ordinary Journey, Michael began a quest to discover the meaning of success.  What he found was that success in life is different than success in a career, relationship or situation.  By interviewing 20 “ordinary people living extraordinary lives” across North America and asking questions on change, perseverance, faith and success; he discovered that life is much more than we often pay attention to.  Life is a fantastic journey of discovery, awakening and new awareness.

Michael’s second film as an Associate Producer brought him to the world of independent film and dramatic comedy.  Working alongside Creator, Producer and Lead Actress Mare Costello on the film The Syriana Tate Interview, Michael began to develop an understanding of what makes for not only a quality film, but also what is needed to create harmonious set and crew.

Michael is currently working on an untitled documentary with producer Bob Brown, along with a production role in the 2012 major motion picture The Bassmaster starring Chris Pine, Scarlett Johannsen, Bill Paxson and John C. Reilly amongst others.

Along with his roles in creating outstanding film, he has recently partnered with International Speaker and Relationship Expert, Tamara Schilling on a variety of projects including her webTV series at RelationShift.TV.  More news on these projects are coming soon!
